Futility of War Period Post 9/11 48” by 40”

Image of Tortured Iraqi Prisoner under Vulture: Prisoner from Saddam Hussein’s infamous prison Abu Ghraib and Vulture is from Ancient Egyptian Relief at Karnak.

Here is the Paradox of Apeiron (“Boundless Giver of Boundaries” found in Anaximander fragment of the 6th Century BCE) or the Dark Rejected Goddess. She shows herself in her Vulture Form ready to eat back the life she gave. In our morality we become the immoral, torturing in our blind fight against the tyrannical torturers, but they are within. We confuse subject and object in its embodied paradoxical form as Apeiron or “Being Itself” (Heidegger). Supporting block for the torture victim contains words “Reason’s Sleep & Unaware Moral Virtue”.
