This painting works top as bottom as well as bottom as top. I was going through a dark period with the father of my son, who unbeknownst to me was sexually abusing both of my children. Part of me was picking it up. The other part could not bear the thought. The wounded can be healed by love, truth & support through the healing aloe vera, if we are brave enough to apply the balm.
